Earlham Cemetery, established in 1856, covers 85 acres to the west of Norwich city centre. Much of the area is a County Wildlife Site and contains open grassland and a fine selection of mature trees. Friends of Earlham Cemetery was founded in 2011 by local residents. We hold monthly walks in the Cemetery and our members are researching the history of the site and recording its wildlife. We are working closely with Norwich City Council (who own the Cemetery) and Norfolk Wildlife Trust to improve the Cemetery as a wildlife habitat.
