Lawnswood Cemetery (53 acres) is in north-west Leeds, Yorkshire. At its centre is a romantic 10-acre Victorian wooded Cemetery opened in 1875 with an entrance lodge and chapels in the centre. A crematorium was added in 1905. This core, plus a 1933 Columbarium and its setting are included in the English Heritage’s list of Parks and Gardens of special historic interest. All buildings mentioned are Grade II listed.
