Friends Of Heybridge Cemetery

The Friends of Heybridge Cemetery had its inaugural meeting in October 2018 and currently has in excess of 30 members. We meet on the first Saturday in the month and since our inauguration we have planted over 10,000 Daffodils, Tulips, Crocuses and Snowdrops. The Chapel has been cleaned and a new kitchen has been installed. We also help many people with maintaining their family graves, particularly families who no longer live locally. Our major project has been the installation of a Pergola where families can sponsor rose bushes and plaques in memory of their loved ones.
