The Oxenhope Old Burial Grounds Trust

The Oxenhope Old Burial Grounds Trust (OOBGT) is responsible for 2 cemeteries, one in Lowertown and one at Horkinstone on the eastern edge of the village. The first burial in the Lowertown cemetery was in 1807 and the last named one was in 1901. The OOBGT bought this burial ground in 1991. The former burial ground at Horkinstone was purchased in 1999.
